Antique 8′ Pro Brunswick-Balke-Collender Centennial

Description

This 8’ Brunswick-Balke-Collender Centennial pool table is a timeless classic where contemporary and traditional design intersect. These tables were designed by Donald Deskey (the designer of the famous Radio City Music Hall in New York City) around 1945 as a commemorative piece celebrating Brunswick’s “Centennial” Anniversary. Like it’s sister table (which can be found here), this 8’ version of the Centennial boasts a handsome Rosewood finish, which is guaranteed to compliment whatever your current household or commercial decor may be. The grooved and fluted contoured aluminium castings, aprons, and leg trim give the table a more ‘modern’ era feel, while simultaneously offering scratch-resistant protection to parts of the table that can often show some of the first signs of wear due to frequent play.

The table features two oval-shaped legs, upon which the sturdy base frame consisting of two longitudinal stretchers, two horizontal cross stretchers, and two end rails is able to rest upon and provide the necessary support for the 3 piece 1” slate and aprons to be securely attached to. The Centennial’s rails are fitted with Brunswick’s renowned live gum rubber cushions, are Rosewood faced, and securely wrapped in premium billiard cloth promising the time-tested accurate rebound gameplay you’ve come to know and trust from the Brunswick brand. The tops of the rails are decorated with Mother of Pearl sights and aluminum castings, providing elegance and uniformity throughout the table.

Truly a mid-Century masterpiece, this 8’ Brunswick-Balke-Collender Centennial pool table is fully restored and ready to be played on! Give us a call today for more information on this – or any of our other – billiards tables!
