Description
The 8’ Brunswick Gibson pool table was originally released in 1945 to commemorate Brunswick’s Centennial Anniversary, and is based on a 1939 design by architect Donald Deskey. It’s simple, yet functional design exemplifies the unique combination of an art deco motif with today’s modern technology.
The Gibson pool table sits on two pedestal style legs and has curved aprons with horizontal accent lines. It was crafted from exotic solid Brazilian Mahogany with Brazilian Mahogany Burl leg panels and is topped with an original Mahogany finish. The Gibson’s design aesthetics also feature uniquely carved solid wood rail-corners and mother-of-pearl diamond shaped rail sights.
Like all of Brunswick’s pool tables, the Gibson showcases supreme engineering which results in unmatched performance and playability. The High Performance Nut Plate ensures consistency in the amount of torque applied to the rails, meaning a perfect rebound from Brunswick’s exclusive SuperSpeed Cushions every single time. Full nut and bolt assembly promises the utmost stability, and also allows for the Gibson to be installed in spaces with limited access to the gameroom.
